Hamilton Anderson Associates worked as the design consultant to Crosswinds Communities for the redevelopment of Brush Park’s historic south end.  The development includes a combination of over 425 townhome and terrace home condominium residences spread over a 10 block area. Public infrastructure was reconstructed and reconditioned including on-street bays for parking and conversion of alleys to pedestrian walkway easements.  HAA updated the City’s Act 344 Development Plan to initiate the process. New townhomes and loft buildings reinforce the historic street grid, setbacks and open spaces. Privacy is maintained through a two-tier circulation system.  Each unit opens onto a small planted courtyard and walk leading to stairs to the street level sidewalk.  This phase was involved in a remediation program for underground fuel tanks.
